There’s something to see and do every day; from spotting wild animals and treasure hunts to chasing over the drifting sand.
You have the best chance of spotting wild animals in the early morning or at dusk between June and October
If you want to spot wild animals in the Hoge Veluwe National Park, you’ll have more luck in June and October, especially early in the morning or at dusk. A good place to start is the visitor centre. They’ll happily show you the way to the observation point from where, with a bit of luck, you’ll be able to see a wild pig, roe deer or stag. There are also interesting trails, such as the Ben de Beuk Tree Tour. You can look for unusual trees, visit the bird-spotting hide and create art with twigs.
