The walls are adorned with masterpieces by leading Dutch realists such as Pyke Koch, Jan Mankes and Carel Willink.
“Marvel at the leading works of Dutch realists in the centre of the village of Gorssel.”
MORE is housed in the former town hall. The building, which dates back to 1914, is connected with the new extension by a glass ‘neck’. The architecture is of course not the main reason why around a hundred thousand visitors a year come to MORE. They are drawn by the permanent collection of works by Dutch realists, created over the past 100 years. There is a museum at Ruurlo Castle where you can marvel at the largest existing collection of work by Carel Willink.
