Of course, each museum has a kids’ programme, but a special children’s museum is the most fun. Rotterdam has one: Villa Zebra, where kids can become little budding art fans from the age of three. Let’s go!
Visual arts for kids, that’s what Villa Zebra is all about. And because a 3-year-old child has other interests than an 8-year-old, there are two separate exhibitions. ZELF! Is a permanent exhibition for children from 3 to 6 years old and is all about exploring and doing it yourself. The exhibition for kids from 7 to 12 years old changes twice a year. The museum also offers workshops and organises extra activities in school holidays.
